From my event this past weekend: Worked at an amazing private birthday party that was designed by Hal Parent who did an AMAZING job. The design was beautiful, warm, and stunning. He definitely rocked it.
I opened for Samantha Ronson who is not only a really cool girl, but she's talented and seemed very grounded. Lindsay Lohan (who came for support) was also really cool and extremely polite. New respect for the two of them, I must say.
Unfortunately, others did not feel the same way as they were treated like caged animals in a zoo by some of the un-caged animals at the party. Nasty words were hurled at them (as well as other things by some immature asshole) and I, for one, was saddened that people's maturity and respect for others was checked at the door. Just goes to show that money can't buy you class - it's something you're either born with or are raised to have. That's not to say that everyone was like that - there were some who were polite and treated them like the humans they are - the hosts being among them.
To quote Mama Rose: You either have it...or you've had it.
