The muse of music (Euterpe btw) must have be workin' overtime this past year because I just got yet another amazing CD from a past hit-making artist. First Donna Summer, then Cyndi Lauper and now Alanis Morissette.
Alanis' new CD Flavors of Entanglement is so flippin' good it hurts. From the lyrics to the dance beats on a few of the tracks, everything is on point. I've heard rumblings that a lot of the songs deal with her break-up with Ryan Reynolds and from what I heard there's no mistaking it - she was hurt and now she's making peace with it all. All I can say is "attagirl." And who knew she had a funky dance side to her?? Some stand-out songs are: Straightjacket, Not As We, Moratorium and Incomplete.
DAYS LEFT IN OFFICE: 220
You are right on with that one missy. THE WHOLE CD is hot.
You can almost hear her heart snap in two in TORCH

I agree, "Alanis' new CD Flavors of Entanglement is so flippin' good it hurts."
"Flavors of Entanglement" will be the album that puts her back on top of the charts.
My favorite song is "Moratorium". It just has an amazing message.
This is one cd I won't be changing from my player anytime soon!
