One of my favorite comedic actors died yesterday: Harvey Korman.
I think the first thing I remembered seeing him in was The Carol Burnett Show where he always played the straight man (as in the serious half of a comedy duo) who could never keep it together when acting w/ Tim Conway.
But it was in all the Mel Brooks movies that I REALLY enjoyed watching him. From the mispronunciations of his names ("Count The Money!Count The Money!...De Monet." and "Hello Heddy Lamar...It's Hedley.") to his sadist relationship with Nurse Diesel who scolds him for arriving late to dinner ("Those who are late get no fruit cup."). His uptight demeanor and controled speech is pure genius.
He will definitely be missed.
