After 24 hours of traveling from NYC to Milan by plane, from Milan to Florence to Bucine by trainan and from deserted Bucine station to the villa by van, I am finally here. It was WELL worth it, lemme tell ya'.
To say that it is brethtaking is an understatement. Since I arrive after dark, I really didn't get to take in exactly where I was - on a hill overlooking vineyards and homes throughout Tuscany. When I wioke up and looked out my window I got it. The pic to the right is a view from my bedroom window (it's a bit dark, but that's because it's overcast today.)
Oh, and I slept for 13 hours. Guess I needed it.
