1. Using the word "faggot" on the job is not cause for firing, it's cause for public humiliation, soul-searching and heartfelt apologies. Mr. Washington did not go up to Mr. Knight and drop the f-bomb on him, but did use the word while describing him to Mr. Dempsey and then denied ever using the word "faggot" (by using the word again) while at The Golden Globes. Ignorant, yes. Hateful, no. I truly believe that words have power when used in ways in which to hurt. This was just plain ignorance and while I may not believe that Mr. Washington is a homophobe, I do believe he needs some lessons in respect. I am a faggot, and only I and my faggot friends can use that word because we own that word. Period.
2. St. Brad and Reverend Mother Angelina are moving to a house I know well down in the French Quarter of New Orleans. This, to me, is a symbolic move that shows that they wish to raise awareness to the destroyed city and possibly bring people back to rebuild their lives. Or maybe they just love the city as much as I do. Whichever it is, I respect them for this and LOVE that they're doing it. Mayhaps Jonno and Richard can welcome Brad by taking him for drinks at One Eyed Jack's.
3. It's all about Save Me at Sundance... That's all I'm gonna say and I'm looking forward to it's premiere this Sunday night.
There's more, but I'll stop there. For now.

Sorry - disagree. If the gay guy called the african-american guy 'nigger', he'd have been canned in a second!
