Here are a just a few thing I learned over the summer (in no particular order):
1. "SHOWMANCE" - n. according to The Urban Dictionary a showmance is: When actors engage in a romance for the run of a show. Once the run is over so is the romance. The term originated in the theater and moved to movies and scripted television and then reality television. The term has now moved to the populace to discribe any contrived romance. Does this mean that Nick and Jessica were actually in a showmance? An example of this being used as a strategy on a reality show can best be described by Dr. Will and Mike "Boogie" from Big Brother All Stars.
2. "FLEURCHONS" - n. an ugly addition to all of Angela's outfits on Project Runway. Basically they're "flowers" made from fabric that adorn or accent an article of clothing. Also called "granny circles" or "yo-yo's". FYI: I recently saw Angela at Macy's talking to some lady and her self-made Marc Jacobs knock-off jacket did indeed have fleurchons. No joke.
3. "S.O.S." - not only a great summer song by Rihanna but a great way to get out of having to go jail in Thailand for alleged child molestation. Simply admit to killing someone you didn't, have U.S. agents deport you to back to America and by the time they realize your DNA doesn't match that which was found at the crime scene you'll be free to serve time in a clean prison where good behavior may allow you to get out early so that you can molest more children. You see, it's easy!
4. "UNDIES/PANTIES" - one should always wear them when wearing a skirt, otherwise you may be photographed and splashed across the World Wide Web. Photoshop me once, shame on you. Photoshop me twice...wait, that picture's not photoshopped.
No one ever leaves comments and it makes me sad. I read your blog everyday for no reason at all. You're in my daily routine... right after Post-Secret. =]
