I was interviewed for this week's NEXT Magazine and was asked by Gregory T. Angelo to name some of my favorite albums. These albums to me are perfect from beginning to end -- in other words, I can listen to them over-and-over without skipping any songs. Albums like those are not easy to find, am I right? In the interview I named only 3 -- it was a half page not a full feature, kids.
Sooooooo I thought I'd list my Top 12 Favorite Albums That I Can Listen To From Beginning To End (Thus Far) for you to check out. They're not in any type of order and I've highlighted them with links to iTunes so that you could sample all of the tracks. If you don't have iTunes, what the hell are you waiting for?? It's 2006 muthafuckah!
Here they is:
Prince - "Sign of The Times"
Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton & Emmylou Harris - "Trio"
Madonna - "Madonna"
Kristine W. - "Land Of The Living" (not available on iTunes...yet)
Green Day - "American Idiot"
Annie Lennox - "Diva"
Missy Elliott - "So Addictive"
Me'Shell Ndegeocello - "Bitter"
Bette Midler - "Live At Last"
The Carpenters - "Gold: 35th Anniversary Edition"
Kiki and Herb - "Kiki and Herb Will Die For You"
Marlo Thomas & Friends - "Free To Be You And Me" (not available on iTunes either...why not???)
The main reason I love you!!! Your music taste is amazing. Can I also put a plug in for Trio 2. Equally amazing.

I love your taste in music. I just downloaded Trio's "To Know, Know, Know Him Is To Love, love, love him" this week and I always love Ms. Carpenter singing. RIP.
