When I see this view from my apartment window, I can't help but think of the lyrics from one of New York's most revered and respected songs.
Brilliantly penned by Lourdes Madonna, the song makes the following statement which rings true in the hearts of New Yorkers everywhere:
"I don't like cities, but I like New York
Other cities...make me feel like a dork"
Wow. Deep.
(sorta ruined the picture, right?)
Everyone I know loves that song and I just don't get why. I was so excited to hear a tribute by Madonna to NYC, and then she comes up with simplistic rhymes like that. After songs like Don't Tell Me (Tell the sun not to shine, Not to get up this time, No no, Let it fall by the way, But don't leave me where I lay down) I expect so much more from her.

It seems like a totally cool/depressing/open a bottle of wine/view. But since you´re still sick skip the bottle of wine and grab some 2ltr. Bottle of water man! Hope you´re feeling better though.

those lyrics are right up there with "talk to me, tell me the news/you wear me out like a pair of shoes."
Profundities.

This park has seen alot of drugs, hookers and loud black folk in it's time. I'm glad that they are cleaning it up for your new view. I love this picture, and I'm sure Kate Moss would dig it also. Love you Kid, Bobby
