After 2 years and 5 month Scott Nevins is finally hanging up his hat at therapy. Yes, folks, no longer will the kids of B'Way pack themselves in tight for 2 hours to see their favorite stage stars (and up-n-coming ones) dish the dirt and sing to us pop/show tunes. It will be strange without him there asking me if his shirt is "sitting right" before he gets up on the stage, or hearing him call the audience "whores", or even informing loud audience members to go downstairs for "Mr. Softee" ice cream cones or falafel (which I still don't understand but...who cares?)
Scott found Destiny and I working the streets of the meat-packing district (Destiny could take out her teeth for an extra $10*) and brought us in to be his DJs at a new venue called therapy in Hell's Kitchen back in March of 2003. Well, Destiny and I are still spinning tunes there, but will sadly be standing in the doorway waving goodbye to the prodigal son as he moves on to bigger things. Yes, he's a size queen.
If you'd like to be there to say goodbye to Scott Nevins one last time, please join us on Monday Sept. 12th at 11pm to help us wave.
* Destiny had her teeth permanently screwed into her jaw last year, so don't ask.
You forgot to mention Scott has the most spectacular ass ... I'm just sayin'...
