Two good reasons to watch HBO on Sunday nights: Deadwood and Carnivale.  I am hooked like a Whitney to crack. Yes...that hooked.

Both shows are well written, beautifully filmed, and brilliantly acted.  I mean, where else can you you see a "carnie" get tarred and feathered while his cooch dancin' wife is forced to watch, or a drunk Calamity Jane sit up for a stagecoach passing by to scream "Cocksuckers!" then pass back out -- all while on the back of her horse?  Not on ABC, I'll tell ya that.

It's not TV.  It's HBO, people.

I was concerned that the premiere this year was full of mostly "cunts," but they more than made up for it in beaucoup "cocksuckers" last night!
