Okay, so I came upon this today and I have to share it with you. It's from Raquel Welch's TV special from the 70s and she, like many sexy actresses from her day, attempts to sing. The fact that she really can't is masked by where-the-fuck-are-we locations and Bob Mackie costumes (though I will admit that her white dress is ssssssssssssstunning). And, yes, my homo ass is loving ALL of it.

My question is: why don't today's actresses do shizz like this? I think Sandra Bullock...Angelina Jolie...Pamela Anderson needs a singin'-n-dancin' special of her own.

This year's Marc Jacobs Holiday Party was SO MUCH FUN! I was feeling a bit under the weather (and still am -- home today), but once the party started my adrenaline kicked into high gear and I spun all of my favorite remixes (Your Child by Mary J Blige/Spin Spin Sugar by The Sneaker Pimps, etc) for the first 3 hours and pop songs the last 2. There was only one glitch when my iDJ2 mixer froze (yes, I freaked out) but rest felt seamless.

As you may or may not know, Marc dressed as a giant camel toe. Over the top. There's more coverage of the party here (look for Brandy & Brenda), here, here, here, and  here.

Went to the Marc Jacobs Spring 2008 show last night and got an eyeful of Mrs. Beckham and my fave cowboy Heath Ledger. He was/is beautiful.

The show was gorgeous and ran backwards (Marc came out first, the model parade second, then the individual looks last).  The shoes and bags were over the top and I think I said "werk" approximately 34 times.

RUMOR CONTROL 2

Marc Jacobs did NOT hold up his fashion show during fall fashion week for late-comers Beyonce and Jay Z; it was for last minute "changes" to the collection.  So don't blame them, beyotches.

In actuality, the two of them have no concept of time because they're crazy.
